Experience Camps’ “Real Talk” Series on GRIEF SUCKS Wins Silver Award in the 45th Annual Telly Awards

WESTPORT, CT – May 21, 2024 – Experience Camps announced today its “Real Talk” series on their digital platform GRIEF SUCKS (www.griefsucks.com) is the Silver Telly Winner in “Social Video – Health and Wellness” in the 45th Annual Telly Awards. The Telly Awards honors excellence in video and television across all screens and is judged by leaders from video platforms, television, streaming networks, production companies. This year’s winners include Adobe, Calvin Klein, ESPN, LinkedIn, MTV Entertainment Studios, PlayStation Studios, and more. 

GRIEF SUCKS (www.griefsucks.com) is a digital content platform created by Experience Camps that provides teens with strategies for navigating their grief and offers a space of belonging. In the “Real Talk” video series, teens who have experienced the death of a family member share their personal feelings and insights when it comes to their individual grief journey.

This project aims to normalize grief for teens and give them an engaging space to talk about their authentic experiences. Says Jesse Moss, Director of Marketing at Experience Camps, “This award is further validation that content that supports and reflects grieving kids can not only help them heal, but can also change the culture of grief support in our country. Our kids are leading that effort. This was a record breaking year for the Telly Awards with nearly 13,000 entries from across the globe and top video and television content producers.
