Experience Camps & Entertainment Partnerships

At Experience Camps, we believe in the power of storytelling and media to foster healing, spark conversations, and help others understand grief. Through our partnerships with the entertainment industry, we work together to create authentic and compassionate portrayals of grief, supporting artists, productions, and audiences alike.

Our Work with Entertainment Partners

Experience Camps partners with television, film, and theater productions to provide expertise on grief themes and support authentic representations of death and grief. Our involvement helps ensure that grief is portrayed in a way that’s accurate, respectful, and meaningful, fostering understanding and empathy for those experiencing it.

Here’s how we collaborate with our partners:

  • Script consultation: We review scripts to ensure grief-related themes and elements are handled with sensitivity and accuracy.
  • Rehearsal & performance feedback: We attend rehearsals and/or performances to provide feedback on the portrayal of grief, offering insights on deepening emotional resonance and authenticity.
  • Post-show talkbacks: We host post-show discussions to engage audiences in meaningful conversations about grief and healing, helping them connect with the content and the experiences of those in grief.
  • Providing online resources: We develop educational materials and online content related to grief, tying into the themes of your production, as a way to provide support foryour audiences and show you’re caring.

We are constantly looking for innovative ways to expand our partnerships and deepen the impact of the work we do. Here are some ideas for collaborations:

  • Grief expert consultations: Our team can offer in-depth grief education to production teams, cast members, and writers, ensuring an informed and nuanced approach to grief-related storylines.
  • Grief-centered campaigns: We can create awareness campaigns around upcoming shows or films to encourage open conversations about grief, its challenges, and the importance of support.
  • Workshops for cast & crew: We can offer tailored workshops that delve into the emotional complexities of grief, helping actors and creatives authentically connect with the subject matter.
