Everything you need to know to apply for camp.

Who is Eligible?

Experience Camps are free one-week grief camps for kids who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling or primary caregiver. Attending campers must be 6 months out from the death of their person by the start date of the program they are applying to. Experience Camps is open to campers who are rising 4th-12th grade (depending on location). To participate in the Experience Camps leadership program (LIT) for rising 12th graders, campers must attend at least one year of camp beforehand. Click here to see our locations and camp dates. Our grief camps for youth are located in California, Connecticut, Georgia, Maine, Maryland, Maui, Michigan, Pennsylvania.

How does the application work?

You can apply to camp by clicking the button below. After we have received your application, for returning campers, a Director will reach out if we have any questions.  For new campers, you will receive instructions on the next steps and on how to schedule an intake call.  Camp spaces do fill up quickly.  You will receive confirmation if your camper is enrolled or is on the waitlist.
