Camp Associate

Experience Camps is hiring a Camp Associate to work with our Program team, providing year-round support for the planning and execution of our camp programs.

The Camp Associate plays a key supporting role on the Program team by assisting in the year-round execution of camp locations. This includes hands-on logistics, communications, volunteer coordination, and planning. The Camp Associate ensures smooth systems are in place to deliver meaningful, well-run camp experiences for grieving children and the volunteers who support them.

This is an ideal role for someone early in their camp or nonprofit career who has a detail-oriented mindset, wants to collaborate with other camp professionals on project based work, and is passionate about youth development and camp culture.

Salary: $60–$65,000, plus comprehensive benefits and flexible scheduling

Development and Grants Coordinator

Experience Camps is hiring a hiring a Development & Grants Coordinator to join our Development team and support fundraising efforts across foundations, corporations, and major gifts, with a primary focus on foundation fundraising and grant development

Reporting to the Foundations & Grants Officer, the Development and Grants Coordinator will support fundraising efforts across the foundation, corporate, and major gifts channels, with a primary focus on foundation fundraising and pre-award grant activities. This role will lead prospect research, grant writing, proposal development, and grants pipeline management, while also providing research, outreach, and stewardship support to the Corporate Giving Officer and Major Gifts Officer.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their nonprofit fundraising career who is highly organized, detail-oriented, curious, and excited to grow within development and philanthropy.

Senior Camp Manager

Experience Camps is hiring a hiring a Senior Camp Manager to join our Program team.

The Senior Camp Manager will provide strategic leadership for our team, with a focus on our growing weekend programs, including Family Camp, FTA, and other emerging program offerings. As Experience Camps continues to expand beyond the summer, this role will ensure these programs are thoughtfully planned, consistently executed, and continue to deliver the same meaningful experience our families have come to expect.

In addition to overseeing weekend program operations, the Senior Camp Manager will lead and support members of the Camp Operations team, strengthen volunteer engagement, and help build scalable systems and processes that support our continued growth. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader who is passionate about creating exceptional experiences for grieving children, families, and adults while developing the people and systems that make those experiences possible.

Camp Operations Manager

Experience Camps is hiring a hiring a Camp Operations Manager to join our Program team.

The Camp Operations Manager will help operational aspects of our Programs team, ensuring the systems, logistics, and technology that support camp run seamlessly throughout the year. From understanding what is needed systemwise for our Camp team, to attending Camp and weekend programs leading educational and informational FAQs, this person will be instrumental to the function of the camp team. From managing CampMinder and volunteer enrollment to coordinating camp supplies, training, reporting, and operational workflows, this role helps connect all the moving pieces that make our programs successful.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, enjoys solving operational challenges, and loves turning complex processes into smooth, reliable systems.

Senior Clinical Manager

The Senior Clinical Manager will provide leadership and support for our clinical team, helping to ensure our clinical approach remains strong, consistent, and aligned with the mission of Experience Camps. This role will lead, coach, and develop a team of clinical professionals while supporting the systems, structures, and processes that allow our team to provide meaningful, grief-informed support to campers and families.

In addition to managing and mentoring year-round and seasonal clinical staff, the Senior Clinical Manager will help strengthen clinical practices, improve collaboration across teams, and support the continued growth and development of our clinical model. This position is ideal for an experienced clinical leader who is passionate about supporting children and families, enjoys developing others, and thrives in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

As a camp nurse, your job is to support the whole program medically throughout the week of camp. As a nurse, you will:
Conduct health checks and administer medication.

Grief Specialist

Grief Specialists are a part of a team of masters-level mental-health professionals who facilitate connection and the development of coping skills. In a Grief Specialist role, you will:
• Facilitate bereavement activities and sharing circles at camp.
• Support campers’ behavioral and emotional needs.
• Attend a one-day orientation the day before camp begins.
• Participate in virtual and on-line training before camp.
