Vault Health Keeps Grieving Kids and Volunteer Staff Safe this Summer at Experience Camps

The leading virtual healthcare platform will donate Zoom-Supervised Antigen tests to the Experience Camps community so they can safely engage in the camaraderie and playfulness of camp.

Westport, CT – July 18th, 2022 – Vault Healththe first and only health-tech company providing clinical care and diagnostics using telehealth and at-home interactionsis  donating 1,500 Zoom-Supervised Rapid Antigen tests to Experience Camps. They are also reducing pricing for shipping, resulting in a total donation value of $31,500.

What this means is more peace of mind for the staff of Experience Camps, a nonprofit that runs a network of 10 no-cost camps for children who have experienced the death of a parent, caregiver, or sibling.

“Vault Health was instrumental in our re-opening of camp last summer,” says Experience Camps CEO, Sara Deren, “and as a result of their testing, we were able to catch 15 positive cases for kids before they entered camp, at least one at each of our camps. While we were obviously disappointed for those campers who couldn’t attend, we were hugely relieved that this stopped the potential spread of Covid at all of our sites. We’re breathing easier knowing we can use Vault Health’s services again, and so appreciate this generous donation!”

As for Vault Health staff, they are happy to contribute because this type of giving falls right in line with their mission. Says Sales Executive Luis Gomez, “As a trusted leader in the fight against COVID-19, helping keep people safe Vault Health’s mission. We couldn’t think of a better place to donate our services than Experience Camps. Grieving children are already dealing with enough, we want to make sure testing for COVID-19 isn’t a barrier to attending camp”
