Experience Camps is carrying on our mission, bringing hope to millions of grieving children, whether they experience the magic at camp, or find that magic through our community initiatives.

Increasing Support for Grieving Children
We’re expanding at camp and beyond, to reach more grieving children wherever they are. This means growing capacity at existing camps, launching new camps, and expanding our “Beyond the Bunk” initiatives.
Strengthening Communities of Care
Grieving children thrive when their support systems are equipped with the language, tools, and resources to support them. We are building out programming tracks for individuals who support grieving children, including those who are also grieving.
Giving Childhood Grief a Platform
Increasing visibility and awareness is key to reaching and supporting the millions of children experiencing grief. We seek to inspire a national dialogue that creates a more grief-sensitive culture.
Here’s what your gift can do:
$20,000
Supports one camper through the full eight-year life cycle of Experience Camps,from 4th grade through the Leaders In Training Program, allowing them to build camaraderie and connection with peers that can last a lifetime.
$50,000
Funds monthly Playing Through Grief meet-ups in one region, increasing accessibility to grief support beyond-the-bunk.
$100,000
Funds staff training curriculums in leadership, communication, social justice, diversity and inclusion, and more, to ensure that they feel equipped with the resources to support grieving children.
$500,000
Supports an entire one-week camp for one summer, giving children a space to explore their grief, break the isolation they may feel among non-camp peers, and have a whole lot of fun.
$1,000,000
