We knew 2020 felt a bit like a marathon, but we didn’t know people would take that literally. The Koffsky and Channing family joined together to crowdfund for Experience Camps and what ensued was EPIC.
Due to COVID, PA volunteer, Andrew, was unable to do a scheduled half-Ironman race in person, so he decided to do it in honor of Experience Camps with his whole family. Siblings and fellow volunteers joined Andrew in completing a 1.2 mile swim, a 56 mile bike, and a 13.2 mile run. That’s over 70 miles FTK!
While some members of the team decided to take a less athletic approach, they did run (pun intended) great social media campaigns that drummed up huge support for their fundraiser, with Seth, Meredith and Zach combining to represent our programs in CA, MI, GA and ME.
2020 was a challenging year for everybody, so it was all the more amazing to see people come together to contribute to Experience Camps. The Koffskys and Channings look forward to getting back to camp this summer for the BEST WEEK EVER!
