“How the Pandemic of Grief is Impacting Kids” Webinar

March 11, 2021 marked the one-year anniversary of the WHO declaration of the Covid-19 pandemic. With 500,000 deaths in the U.S., grief is an invisible public health crisis impacting millions of children. There is an urgent need for grief leaders to come together to reflect on the hard lessons from the past year, share emerging insights, and chart a path forward for the nation’s youth who are growing up while confronting a “pandemic of grief.”

This one-hour virtual event brought together experts in various dimensions of grief to consider what this unusual year meant for the nation’s youth. It included a moderated discussion and Q&A, and result in a short insights report, as well as quotes, video clips, etc. for social tiles, video clips, etc. At a time when grief leadership has never been needed more, this session consolidated essential insights on what 2020 taught us about grief, particularly for kids.
