Charlie Jandora, Marketing & Communications Intern

Tell us a little about yourself!
Hi! My name is Charlie and I am this summer’s Marketing & Communications Intern. I grew up in Westport, CT and am now entering my junior year at Carleton College in Minnesota where I am a Sociology & Anthropology major, with minors in French and Creative Writing. When I am not studying, I enjoy playing guitar, writing, and hiking!
Why did you want to intern at Experience Camps?
I grew up going to sleepaway camp, so I’ve always appreciated the impact camp can have on kids. After learning more about Experience Camps’ mission and the support they provide beyond camp itself, I knew it was an organization I would love to be a part of.
What are you most excited about this summer?
I am definitely most excited to attend ConnEx in-person and see everything come together.
What’s a fun fact about you?
I’ll be studying ecology and anthropology in Tanzania this fall!
What’s your favorite summer activity or tradition?
My favorite summer activity has to be eating s’mores with friends and family around a campfire. Nothing beats it!
What are you looking forward to the most at camp this summer? What is your favorite summer camp activity?
I’m most looking forward to seeing the College League in full swing. The combination of high-energy music, fun activities, and friendly competition creates such an exciting atmosphere.
