“Experience Camps is thrilled to be named as an official charity partner of the 2018 TCS New York City Marathon,” said Sara Deren, Founder and Chief Experience Officer. “The journey through the grieving process can certainly feel like a marathon. We’re here to support our campers through every step, and to show them that as difficult as it can be, there is also hope and joy to be found in the journey, itself. That’s why we are excited to partner with the TCS New York City Marathon, which provides a unique platform for our dedicated runners to pursue their goals while raising awareness for a cause that is close to their heart. We are now accepting requests for those who want to run For The Kids!”
More than 350 official charity partners will be part of the 2018 TCS New York City Marathon, providing thousands the opportunity to run in the world’s most popular marathon.
Experience Camps is a national non-profit organization that provides free, one-week camps for children who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling or primary caregiver. In 2018, Experience Camps will have more than 500 children at camps in Maine, California, Georgia, and Pennsylvania.
