Traveling to Camp
Flying to Camp – If you are flying to camp, you should book your flight right away. Make sure your flight arrives in time to meet the staff shuttle bus. Bus times are listed in your program google form above.
Bus to Camp – Shuttles are listed on the travel forms. Note that only the shuttles listed on the travel form will be available.
Driving To Camp – If you can, we encourage you to drive to camp this year. We will send specific parking instructions closer to camp. Please be mindful of the staff arrival times and give yourself enough time to get to camp. If you are struggling to find someone to carpool with to or from camp, contact your Operations Director who may be able to support you, or indicate your need to carpool in the google form.
Travel Chaperones Needed
For returning staff only: We need travel chaperones to chaperone camper buses and airport on Camper Travel Days (to and from camp). If you live near the bus stops or airports for campers and are available on Camper Travel days, reach out to your Operations Director to volunteer as a travel chaperone or indicate your interest in your Travel Form (Google form in the section above).
Staff Travel Scholarships
Except by bus, transportation costs for staff are not covered by Experience Camps. However, we have a Staff Travel Scholarship Request Form for staff who would otherwise be unable to attend camp without assistance. The stipend will be provided as a reimbursement and may cover only a portion of the cost of travel. Submit your request in the form above. Do not book any travel until you receive a response from ExCamps HQ (typically within 5-7 days). Reach out to your Operations Director or volunteers@experiencecamps.org with questions.
