Staff Packing List

See below for packing guidelines for camp. There is limited amount of storage space in each cabin so large suitcases will not fit. Pack as lightly as possible.

Apparel and Accessories

  • 1 sports watch
  • 4-5 t-shirts
  • 1 long sleeve t-shirt
  • 2 pairs of jeans/long pants
  • 2-3 pairs of shorts
  • 2 sweatshirts or sweaters
  • 1 pair of sneakers for sports
  • 1 pair of sneakers for walking around
  • 7 pairs of underwear
  • 7 pairs of socks
  • 2 sets of pajamas (one warm, one light)
  • 1 pair of flip-flops
  • 1 hat
  • 1 nice outfit for closing dinner
  • 1 refillable water bottle
  • 5-10 disposable or cloth masks

Bed and Bath

  • 1 blanket or sleeping bag
  • 1 set of sheets
  • 1 pillow
  • 1 shower kit (include toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush, deodorant, feminine hygiene products)
  • 1 washcloth
  • 1 shower or swim cap (optional)
  • 2 towels
  • 1 beach towel
  • 1 pair shower flip-flops
  • 2 swimsuits (no bikinis)
  • 1 flashlight
  • 1 rain jacket

Medication

Any medication, prescription or over-the-counter, should be in its original package and will be held by the camp nurse for the duration of the week. Medication must be labeled. This includes vitamins and melatonin.

We ask that each camper bring a photo or memento of the person who died. If applicable, we also encourage staff to bring a photo or memento.

A few additional notes on your packing list

  • Shampoo, soap, sunscreen, and insect repellent will be provided at camp. Only pack if you need a specific brand.
  • No hair dryers or flat irons should be brought to camp.
  • Keep in mind that this is a summer camp so we ask that campers pack clothes that allow for active motion.
  • We do not allow electronics at camp. Staff are allowed cell phones, but they are strictly prohibited from use outside of designated staff-only areas.
  • Do not pack additional food.
  • Please LABEL EVERY SINGLE ITEM!

Travel Information for all Staff

Your Travel form is due by July 1st. Click on the link below to view travel details for your specific program and complete your travel form. Please have your travel plan organized before filling out the appropriate travel form. If you have any questions, please reach out to your Operations Director (found in your staff handbook here). If you are unable to get to one of the staff bus stops, and need support for the cost of your travel to camp, view the Travel Scholarship form below.
