Grief doesn’t stop after camp. Neither do we.
The magic of camp doesn’t end when the campers depart each summer. We must go beyond the bunk to sustain our community of support for kids and their caregivers all year-round.

Care Packages
Our campers will receive a camp-in-a-box care package in July, with more than 10 gifts representing tradition, play and connection. They’ll receive other surprises throughout the year to spark joy and remind them we’re here.

Camp @ Home
Our virtual camp on August 4-8 will bring five days of live and on-demand activities. From meditation classes to dance parties, our campers will experience a mix of the best people, traditions, and camp activities!

Caregiver Support
Our clinical team is on hand to answer questions, host webinars, provide tips and just-in-time resources, and offer referrals for those who need more support.

Camper Reunions
Whether virtual or in person, we’re creating new ways for our campers and volunteers to connect throughout the year.

Leaders In Training
We’re planning special sessions and resources for our Leaders In Training to help them venture out into the world and grow as role models in the Experience Camps community.

Covid Response
We’re offering 100 one-year subscriptions to GriefCoach, a grief support program, for teens that have experienced a significant loss as a result of COVID-19.
Go Big AND Go Home
About Experience Camps
Experience Camps is a nationally-recognized no-cost program for grieving children, ages 9-17, who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling or caregiver. At our core is a network of summer camps that reframe the experience of grief and empower kids to develop invaluable coping skills that enable them to move forward with their lives. We give grieving children experiences that will change their lives forever.
